The grain sizes we are supplying are 0.2-5mm, and bulk density are from 0.5-1.0g/cm3. They are widely used for production of refractory insulation materials, refractory lightweight bricks, as loose bulk material for the filling of thermal insulation walls. It is also ideal filler for high-temp. (1600-2400°C)furnace due to its chemically inert, such as induction furnace, nitriding furnace. Chemical and Physical Properties Al2O3 not less than 99% SiO2 not more than 0.3% Fe2O3 not more than 0.15% Na2O+K2O not more than 0.3% Refractoriness not less than 1800 deg, cel. Bulk Density 500-1000kg/m3 Grain Scales 0.2-5mm. (Usually 0.2-1mm, 1-2mm/1-3mm, 2-5mm/3-5mm). Main phase: alpha-alumina phase. |
